  • Why give? Will my gift even make a difference?
Your gift, along with gifts from thousands of other Illinois State University supporters, collectively makes an impact on campus each day. At its core, Student Affairs provides each student the opportunity to engage in their college experience in the most meaningful and significant ways to accomplish their goals as well as gain from experiences they didn't even know were possible. Without the support of our generous alumni, staff, and friends we would not be able to provide the opportunities and experiences that distinguish our graduates from others.
  • What different areas can I support within the Division of Student Affairs?
Support your passion! There are giving opportunities in most of the departments that comprise the Division of Student Affairs. Choose to support which area you are most passionate about.
  • What if I am not sure what area I would like to support?
If you are not sure where you want to make a gift, or where it would be most impactful contact Associate Director of Development and Alumni Engagement, Adam Ruble, at apruble@ilstu.edu to talk through different options.
  • Can I make a recurring gift to be automatically withdrawn from a bank account each month?
Making a recurring gift not only spreads out your payment over a year, but contributes a sustaining gift to Student Affairs. You can choose to make a recurring gift by selecting it in the payment section when making your online gift. Consider giving $10 a month to help sustain our programs and services...it will add up to $120 before you know it!
  • Can my company match my gift?
Matching gifts are company-donated contributions that match the contribution made by employees on a one-to-one, two-to-one, or even three-to-one basis. Find out if your company matches.
  • How can I give online?
You can make your gift online through our secure website online.
  • Is my gift tax deductible?
Your gift to the Illinois State University Foundation is tax deductible for the calendar year that your gift is made.
  • Whom should I make my check out to?
Checks should be made out to Illinois State University Foundation and can be mailed to Illinois State University Foundation, Campus Box 8000, Normal, IL 61790-8000.
