Student Affairs supports programs and services that aid in making Illinois State University a more welcoming and inclusive campus. At a macro-level, we seek to build a community that supports, embraces, and celebrates diversity as well as provides experiences that resonate with all members of our community. On a micro-level, we provide funding for the success and retention of students who identify as first-generation, low income, or underrepresented through scholarships that encourage and support involvement. We want to maximize student development as engaged and thoughtful citizens through supporting the financial burdens of involved and active students.
With additional funding, the Division of Student Affairs can offer new and innovative programs and services designed to model advocacy, leadership, and education to support community building, as well as creatively enrich the campus climate in support of the overarching University goal of fostering a socially just and inclusive environment. Further, scholarships can be awarded to more students.
Your support for these life-enhancing experiences allows students opportunities to maximize their Redbird life. Find out how you can support this initiative by contacting Adam Ruble, Associate Director of Development and Alumni Engagement.
