The STAR Awards recognize "Staff That Are Remarkable" within the Division of Student Affairs.
Every spring, the Division takes the opportunity to acknowledge the significant contributions of staff members to their departments, the Division, and the University throughout the year. We are actively seeking nominations for ten categories :
- Promotion of Diversity *
- Innovation by a Team *
- Excellence in Assessment *
- Outstanding New Program, Project, or Use of Technology *
- Outstanding Civil Service Staff Member
- Outstanding A/P Staff Member
- Outstanding New Staff Member
- Outstanding Graduate Assistant
- Outstanding Mentor
- Partner to the STARs
Please note: * represents categories that can be nominations or self-submissions.
An individual, team, program, or project may be considered for multiple award categories. If nominating groups/teams, all members do not have to be from the Division of Student Affairs.
Nomination Requirements
- Required: A completed nomination form .
- Optional: Additional support materials, including additional letters of support, program brochures, pictures, videos, etc.
Submit the nomination form by April 17, 2024.
