Office of the Vice President
Student Engagement Fund
The Student Engagement Fund strengthens the mission of the Division of Student Affairs through its financial support of initiatives, programs, and outreach activities for Illinois State University. The fund provides engagement opportunities for students, student, and professional leadership development, and participation in school spirit activities and cultural events. Contributions to this fund also provide additional resources to student scholarships, necessities for students experiencing hardships due to crisis situations, and student memorials.
Leadership Initiative Fund
The Leadership Initiative Fund supports initiatives provided by Leadership and Service, a unit of the Dean of Students Office, to develop students as engaged, compassionate leaders committed to action, service, and social change in the global community. Current programs include LeaderShape®, Leaders of Social Change Trip, Leadership Revolution, the Leadership and Service Themed-Learning Community, and Camp LEAD, with plans to increase opportunities and options for students.

Dean of Students Office
Dean of Students Enhancement Fund
The purpose of the Dean of Students Enhancement Fund is to provide programming, recognition, and educational opportunities for students and staff members that are not able to be covered by the regular operating budget.

University Housing Services
University Housing Services Excellence Fund
The University Housing Services (UHS) Student Employee Scholarship is designed to recognize the outstanding contributions of student employees who provide essential services in on campus housing. These students are often the face of the department to their peers and visitors. Whether they serve at the reception desk, fitness center, or as an office assistant, conference assistant, resident assistant, or night manager, they contribute significantly to the overall experience that students have on campus and this scholarship is designed to celebrate excellence.

Campus Recreation
Campus Recreation Excellence Fund
The Recreation Services Excellence Fund will be used to support and enhance recreational programs, services, and facilities provided to Illinois State University, alumni, and local community. In addition, this fund will be used to recognize staff for providing service excellence to our constituents.
Campus Recreation Sports Clubs Fund
The Recreation Services Sport Clubs Fund will be used to support and enhance the numerous competitive Sport Clubs associated with Illinois State University. This fund will assist clubs with major expenses relating to travel, uniforms, and equipment as needed.

Student Counseling Services
Student Counseling Services Enhancement Fund
The Student Counseling Services (SCS) Enhancement Fund allows SCS to pursue timely and unique initiatives and opportunities, to support professional growth and development of the SCS staff, and to enhance the programs, services, and facilities that the department offers students. Examples of spending from this fund may include items such as sponsoring professional training workshops for staff to build specialized skills, updating web and print resources for students, enhancing prevention programming on an issue of current concern, recruiting high quality staff to work at SCS, or purchasing materials or decorative items for the department that help all students feel welcomed.

Student Health Services
Student Health Services Excellence Fund
The Student Health Services Excellence Fund is used to enhance programs and services provided to Illinois State University students. These services currently include a full-service primary care clinic, psychiatry, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, patient education, and the student health insurance office. Potential ways to enrich this range of services can include acquisition of new technology, recognizing staff excellence, supporting students interested in health care, and extending services in ways that will help assure student success.

Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality (EMDH)
EMDH Enhancement Fund
The Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality Excellence Fund was established in 2020 to support enhancement of the programs, services, or facilities of the Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality Department (EMDH) at Illinois State University.
John and Louise Green Scholarship
The John W. and Louise H. Green Scholarship Fund was established in 1970 by John Green, professor emeritus of agriculture at Illinois State University. Each fall awards are made to student employees in the residence halls food service program and were established to encourage excellent academic performance.

Multicultural Center Enhancement Fund
The Multicultural Center Enhancement Fund supports the activities, programs, and operations associated with the Multicultural Center at Illinois State University. The Illinois State University Multicultural Center seeks to equip students to value intersecting identities and commit to enacting a culture of anti-racism, equity, and justice.

Student Access and Accommodation Services
Student Access and Accommodation Services Fund
Your contribution to the Student Access and Accommodation Services Fund provides educational opportunities that raise the awareness of the campus community concerning disability access and inclusion. Programs are provided to offer opportunities for campus engagement in disability issues and to showcase the talents and abilities of persons with disabilities.
Will to Succeed
Your contribution to the Student Access and Accommodation Services Will to Succeed Scholarship financially encourages and supports students with disabilities at Illinois State University to follow their dreams of higher education and pursue fulfilling professional careers. This scholarship is awarded annually to students who have one of the following disabilities: learning disability, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, medical disability, psychiatric disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Communications Disorder.

Illinois State University Police Enhancement Fund
The Illinois State University Police Department Enhancement Fund supports a wide variety of initiatives within the police department including but not limited to: equipment, training, recognition, and the development of educational materials in support of the department’s efforts to enhance the campus community’s safety. Your contribution would be genuinely and sincerely appreciated.

Career Services
Career Services Excellence Fund
Your support of the Career Services Excellence Fund provides the resources necessary for us to serve both students and potential employers by providing mentors, résumé review and writing assistance, job and career counseling, internship and job fair coordination, and contact with corporate recruiters. Career Services not only assists students with finding their next job, we help them develop job-search and career development skills that will serve them throughout their careers.

The Center for Civic Engagement
Giving to the Center
The Center for Civic Engagement promotes collaboration across campus and with the community, establishing a shared point of contact, serving as a needed clearinghouse and resource center, and providing an administrative home and support for Illinois State's American Democracy Project and Civic Engagement and Responsibility Minor. Gifts to the Center provide opportunities for students to participate in community engagement activities and develop into active citizens in their community.
Funding for the Center for Civic Engagement will solidify Illinois State University's commitment to serving the citizens of Illinois while preparing the next generation.

Support Alternative Breaks
The Alternative Breaks Support Fund is used to support students who volunteer their spring, winter, and summer breaks to travel back to locations across the country and world to help meet the needs in the community. Students learn about active citizenship by participating in the following social action programs: building homes for the homeless, increasing hunger awareness, tutoring children, and environmental action programs such as community, park, and wetland cleanup projects.
