Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
In the Division of Student Affairs, we value and celebrate differences among people, ideas, and cultures. This value is exemplified in our commitment to ensuring that policies, programs, and services are inclusive and reflect the diversity of our community.

Inclusion Change Team
The Inclusion Change Team was created in the fall of 2014 to infuse inclusion efforts throughout each department in the Division. Each of the Division’s 13 departments has at least one Inclusion Practitioner that receives ongoing, in-depth training on evaluation, implementation, and facilitation of diversity efforts. This innovative approach allows for each department to make significant and sustainable change in their environment, practices, and programs to create a more inclusive home for our students and staff.
The Division of Student Affairs' Multicultural Center provides Illinois State students with an affirming campus environment where they can embrace their intersecting identities and learn to become a champion for antiracism, equity, and justice.
Illinois State University's Diversity and Accessibility Resources page offers numerous links to find information on guidelines, services, and programs both on campus and in the community.
