Do not hesitate to contact these offices with your questions or concerns related to helping students get help. Staff are available to consult and assist in creating a plan to best address any situation.
College students, just like many other adults, sometimes experience distress and associated difficulties. The following services are available to assure that students get the assistance they require to help them stay healthy, well, and academically successful.

If you have an emergency after our normal weekday business hours or on the weekend, please call the Student Counseling Services main number at (309) 438-3655. You will be given the option to press "2" to speak to a counselor immediately, or dial 1-815-256-2188. The counselor will provide information, support, referrals, and, if needed, will arrange for emergency services.

When students disrupt the University community or potentially violate Illinois State’s Code of Student Conduct or other University policies, it is important that faculty and staff involve Student Conduct and Community Responsibilities, a unit of the Dean of Students Office.
